Výkon vetra


The purpose of this page is to calculate a theoretical amount of energy from an existing measured wind data fetched from the database.
The wind speed is measured by an anemometer, which doesn't have a 100% efficiency, thus the output measurement can be theoretically higher.
The final calculated wind power as the result on this page is purely theoretical and serves the purpose of an experimental use only. Other uses are on your own responsibility.



Used formula:

P = 0,5 * ρ * A * w3



where:

P - theoretical wind power, measured by an anemometer (W),
ρ - air density (by ISA - 1.2250 kg/m3),
A - Measured area for the wind interaction (m2)
w - average wind speed (m/s)
